1. The Hive Party Hostel – Budapest ðŸ‡ðŸ‡º
Peak summer price. £25-£110. Will sell out FAST.
The Hive. The bias for this hostel is unreal. It lives up to the name. It’s a hive of party-goers and like-minded people. If all you want to do is stay out until 5 am. Budapest is known for it’s clubs and party life, and the hive compliments the city well.
Situated in the heart of Budapest. You’re surrounded by bars, clubs, food, and shops. The transport links are also perfect. Everything you need. The hostel is over 7 stories high. The building is hollow in the middle and there’s a bar below all of the rooms. its essentially a block of high rise flats full of rooms. All you can hear is music all night.
On the roof, there’s a bar that’s open till the early hours. Expect your hostel rooms to be buzzing with life too as people are just there to party. Perfect for solo travellers. The rooms also have curtains on the bed, and comfy beds for that matter.
It’s a pricey hostel in the summer and very competitive. Book early for the hive, it’s 100% worth the stay.

2. Ahoy! Hostel – Prague 🇨🇿
Peak summer price. £26-£85.
Prague is known to be a party city, so why not top it off with a party hostel?
The Hostel is situated in the Old Town, about half a mile from the city center. It’s a prime location, especially if you’re coming in late at night.
The Ahoy lives up to party standards, with a Unique twist. It’s not a party hostel for mass numbers. It’s intimate and small. The nighttime comes around, and you’re sitting around the table playing drinking games and talking to other fellow travellers. This is great for solo travellers looking to meet new people. Because you will. Guaranteed. Shout out to the owner too, can’t remember his name but he’s super personal and will make you feel welcome.
The beds are double-bunked and comfortable with A/C for hot weather. You’re not there for that, though. You’re there for the great pub crawls they put on at night. Unlike a few hostels that I won’t mention, they actively take you to the best bars in the city centre.

3. Let’s Rock Party Hostel – Krakow
Peak summer price – £18 – £40.
Let’s Rock Party Hostel. Does says party in the name, so it’s a good start. I’ve stayed here twice over the years. It’s not changed. It’s the same crazy party hostel it’s always been. It’s in the heart of Krakow. Easy to get to and You’re a finger tip away from all the night life.
I need to say, it does not have A/C. It gets very, very hot in the summer at night. It can be a nuisance when you’re trying to sleep. The rooms are also great, and the occupants just want to party and see the city.
The evenings are when it all kicks off. The middle floor of the building is home to the bar area. Ping-pong, drinking games, karaoke, it sets the night off to a cracking start.
You’ll set off to some of the best bars around the city after warming up in the hostel.
In my experience, the groups have always been huge. It is a great chance for solo travellers to meet other people.
4. Athens Hawks Hostel 🇬🇷
Peak summer price. £25-£90.
Athens isn’t particularly known to be a party hub. Athens Hawks, However? The hostel is buzzing and has a very popular bar.
The Athens Hawks Hostel is situated in the area of Omonoia. It’s very central, but the area itself does struggle, and it’s very visible to the eye. You need to be more aware when walking the streets here as we did come across some questionable characters.
You step inside the hostel, and the place is teeming with people just wanting to party. The rooms are comfortable with A/C and good beds. For a central hostel in a major European city, the rooms are very cheap too.
The nighttime comes around. Head up to the bar on the top floor, and there are views of the entire city. Couple this with a buzzing bar and cheap drink prices? You’re in for a solid night. The bar is packed and full of people wanting to mingle and go to the bars with people.
You will have no trouble finding people to hang out with here. It’s great for all kinds of travellers, especially solo.

5. St Christopher’s Berlin Mitte 🇩🇪
Peak summer prices. £42 – £130
Berlin. Oh Berlin. Berlin is most definitely known for its party scene. You will have wild nights here as it’s just embedded in the DNA here.
Techno, house music and late nights come hand in hand. The clubs are like no other. There is a reason it’s further down my list, and I’ll get to it.
St Christopher’s Berlin Mitte is situated in Berlin central. The problem is that Berlin is massive. The clubs you really want to go to are scattered around the whole city. You can’t escape that, but the metro system is very efficient and cheap. The Uber’s are also there.
The hostel it’s self will not provide the best bars and clubs to go to. That’s on you. They will take you to the bars on a pub crawl to get you started, then venture out alone.
This is where you aim for the big leagues.
Kit-Kat. About Blank. Berghain.
NO PHONES! They will tape your camera. Stay off the damn phone. It’s definitely one of the best policies to have. People are enjoying the moment.
These clubs are out of this world. Techno all night long. You can of course go to less extreme clubs and they are easier to get into.
That’s where the graft comes in. Strict all black dress code. No talking in the line. No big groups. You can be stood there for 3 hours, get to the front. and be denied entry.
It’s a roll of the dice with Berlin; you might spend the entire night queuing or partying.
It’s worth the risk for the experience. The risk-to-reward ratio is high for these clubs.
But for that, it goes to the bottom of my list. The rest will guarantee you a night out. Conversely, i think Berlin clubs are the bigger prize. Pick your poison.
